Dr Alex SM Dovban received his Bachelor of Dental Surgery with Honors from Otago University in New Zealand. Prior to his move to Singapore, he worked in Australia where he practised a wide-range of dental and surgical procedure including complex cases. He is also practising Laser Dentistry and CAD CAM technology dentistry. He completed his post-graduate degree in Master of Dental Surgery in Periodontology and Implantology from National University of Singapore. In Singapore, he worked at the National University Hospital (NUH) and Singapore General Hospital as well as the largest private dental company in Singapore. He was awarded prestigious Membership of Royal College of Dental Surgeons (RCDS Ed) specialist in Periodontology and is also a Member of International Team of Implantology. His main research and clinical interest areas are bone regeneration, dental implants and periodontal plastic surgery.
